
A member of a notorious Glasgow crime family has admitted killing a man during a road rage incident.
Paul Lyons, 28, rammed 32-year-old Mark Fleeman's van on the M74 motorway near Larkhall in June last year.
The High Court in Glasgow heard that Lyons was high on drink and drugs and banned from driving at the time.
Mr Fleeman died after his van spun off the road and overturned. His 17-year-old passenger Lee Allsup was seriously injured. Both men were from Uttoxeter.

Irn-Bru is adding the fizz to a new campaign aimed at revolutionising the packaging of food and drink.
Maker AG Barr has agreed to back new targets which include increasing the recycling content of grocery packaging where appropriate, as well as upping recycling rates. The aim is to slash the carbon impact of packaging by 10%.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested after the body of another man was discovered at a flat in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.
Kevin Black, 34, was found dead at a property in Dunkeld Place on Monday.
Police said earlier this week that they were treating his death as suspicious.
The 33-year-old man is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

A Lanarkshire steel firm has secured £2m worth of new contracts, including work on the new Shotts Prison.
GR Contracts, based in Wishaw, has signed a £1.3m deal with construction firm Carillion to supply and install steel for the new-build jail.
It will also provide structural steel for builder Cruden for a development of new flats in Govan, Glasgow.
Bosses at the firm said funding from UK Steel Enterprise (UKSE) was helping them through difficult economic times.

The decision to pay hypnotist Paul McKenna £20,000 to give a "pep talk" to jobless youngsters has been criticised by the Scottish Chambers of Commerce.
The government-funded agency Skills Development Scotland is hosting the talk as part of a Get Ready for Work event for 16-19 year olds in Glasgow.
Scottish Chambers of Commerce director Liz Cameron said the fee could have been spent on apprenticeships.
The Scottish government said it was funding extra apprenticeship places.

Now Scots writer Mark Millar has announced plans to direct his first film in Glasgow starring Scottish superheroes.
Millar, who made his name writing for comic books including Superman, the X-Men and Spider-Man, plans to hire local actors and crew for the as-yet-untitled film, which will be filmed this summer.
The 40-year-old has already tasted Hollywood success with the 2008 adaptation of his Wanted comic, which starred Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman and fellow Scot James McAvoy. Later this month, the £40m big screen version of his comic Kick-Ass starring Nicolas Cage will be released.
The Coatbridge-born writer plans to cast the new movie next month and film at various Scottish locations in the summer. It is expected to be released in late 2011.
