SLIDE ACROSS THE CLYDE
Leading charity Action for Children is looking for thrill seekers to go for the adrenalin rush of a lifetime by taking part in a zip slide across the River Clyde on Sunday March 21. You will experience 100ft of pure joy as you take the plunge down the zip slide from one bank of the river to the other. At the same time, you will be helping to raise funds for the work of Action for Children Scotland in supporting some of our most vulnerable children and young people.

THE MOON WALK 2010
Over 34,000 walkers have taken part in this event which has resulted already in providing funds to begin work on a new Maggie’s Centre at Gartnaval Hospital Glasgow, provided funds for The Breast Cancer Institute at The Western Infirmary and Scalp Cooling projects – essentially machines that help those undergoing chemo prevent hair lose - throughout Scotland including hospitals in Elgin, Isle of Skye, Alexandria, Greenock, Kilmarnock, Glasgow and Ayr
This year’s event is on 19th June.

Young sailors of SailLaser Sailing School are challenging themselves to do a Tri-Mile – a run, a jump into a pedalo to speed across the loch, then a quick swap over to a sailing craft for a challenging sail to the finish line! Come along and lend your support on the day – we’ll be out with collection tins so all donations – big or small – will be very much appreciated.
