Animation Factory at East Kilbride Arts Centre – For 8 to 11 year olds
Get along and create pieces of work using Stop-motion, Live-action, Animation and video projection techniques or a combination of these methods and ideas from you and your friends. Grand Jumble Sale, Larbet
The 62nd Larbert scout group is holding a grand jumble sale on Saturday 14th August at 2p.m. in Larbert Old Parish Church Hall. A large range of clothes, books, toys, shoes and bric-a-brac will be on sale. Refreshments and home baking will be available too and all profits will go to scout group funds.

Strathaven (Pronounced: Straven) Balloon Festival, Strathaven

Lanarkshire International Childrens Games
Around 1500 young athletes from around the world will come to Lanarkshire for the 4th ICG Games. It will be the biggest international event ever held in Lanarkshire. The young sporting stars will be competing at venues throughout the county, from East Kilbride’s John Wright Sports Centre to the new multi-million pound sports complex at Ravenscraig.
